Every image
remains protected.
Unless an individual project page explicitly states otherwise, photographs, watermarked previews, captions, visual arrangements and other original materials published through ImageOrigin Vault remain protected works owned or controlled by the copyright owner identified in the corresponding record.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, republication, modification, removal of copyright or provenance information, or commercial use may infringe the rights of the identified owner.
How the archive
documents provenance
Each published project receives a stable public URL and a project record identifier. Each archived image receives its own image record identifier and an SHA-256 fingerprint calculated from the original file supplied to this account.
The archive also records the original filename, file size, archive ingestion time and the publication date displayed by the project. Public pages use reduced or watermarked previews while access to the archived original is restricted to the administrator.
These records support source identification, provenance documentation and rights-management workflows. They do not replace official copyright registration where registration is available, and they do not by themselves guarantee a takedown decision by any third-party platform.
Permission is required
before reuse.
Display of a photograph on this website does not place that photograph in the public domain and does not grant permission to copy, repost, distribute, edit, sell, train a commercial image library from, or otherwise exploit the work.
Any license must be granted separately by the identified copyright owner or an authorized representative. A license does not transfer copyright ownership unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise.
Documented records,
not a government registry.
ImageOrigin Vault is a private provenance and rights-management archive maintained by the account holder. Its records describe materials supplied to the archive and the technical records generated by the service.
Nothing on this website should be read as a statement that AI, ImageOrigin Vault, a court, a copyright office or another government authority has independently certified ownership of a particular work.
